The distance between explores the spaces that separate, connect, and quietly shape us. Through painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media, the exhibition considers how art can bridge the gap between memory and place, people and feeling, absence and understanding.

A group exhibition about longing, connection, and the invisible threads that pull us closer.

Connection - Solo Exhibit, May 2026

This exhibition traces a personal journey through the language of the ocean. What began as a way to navigate anxiety became a practice of painting raw, untamed waves, deep waters, heavy skies, and the emotional weight they carried.

Over time, the work has shifted toward light: open horizons, softer tides, and the quiet hope found in morning seas. These paintings explore the ocean as both mirror and medicine, a space of power, vulnerability and renewal.

This exhibit is for anyone who has experienced grief, panic, pain, hope and joy. Through her seascapes, I invite viewers to connect, with the work, with one another, and with their own stories reflected in the sea.

Set across both the gallery interior and open courtyard, the exhibition presents a diverse collection of works that move between intensity and stillness, shadow and illumination
