Artic Ghost captures the silent grace of an orca gliding through the ocean with the quiet confidence of a predator, however orcas are deeply affected by their environment.

People with mental health challenges often carry their burdens quietly, just as orcas move through the depths without making a sound. The vast icy arctic mirrors that feeling of navigating the world where strength and vunerability coexsist. Though powerful, even an orca cannot control its changing environment.

The paintings detailed foreground keeps the focus on the orca, while the softer, less-defined background represents the vast unknown.

 Like a ghost the orca glides forwards, because even in solitude there is strength in motion.
