'Breaking' was inspired by the intense power of the ocean. The piece seeks to portray that nature cannot be underestimated, it can be fierce, noisy and rough. However, the ocean and its waves are calming, strong and clear. Breaking was a therapeutic piece to paint as it was made during a personally challenging time, so I hope it brings you peace and joy.
